TriboTEX nanoparticles have two sides, one that binds and one that glides. The grippy side reinforces and strengthens, while the slippery side reduces friction.
Just like carbon in the mantle of the earth, they self-align into a diamond-like armor under the heat and pressure of your engine, grippy side facing in and slippery side facing out. This coating dramatically reduces friction, down to superlubricity levels.

We recommend treating after your break-in period. All vehicles can benefit from the TriboTEX protective coating with superlubricity, but higher-mileage vehicles will experience more dramatic improvements as worn away material is restored.
The treatment is permanent, however the nanocoating will accumulate some wear over time. Our mechanics recommend retreating your engine every 40,000 miles/64,000 km, or annually if you are a heavy user. Semi trucks should be treated annually with our Big Rig formula.
TriboTEX Transmission treatments last much longer as transmission fluid isn't exposed to outside contaminants like engine oil. Our mechanics recommend treating your transmission every 80,000 miles/128,000 km.
No. TriboTEX will not cause any damage to your vehicle resulting in warranty claims. Your warranty is also protected by the 1975 Magnuson-Moss Act.
One treatment is sufficient in most cases. Extra-large or high mileage vehicles may benefit from a second application after the initial application phase (500 mi/800 km).
If sealed, kept cool, and away from light, it should last a lifetime. If it gets hot, there might be changes in color that does not affect performance. Just shake well for easy dispensing.
